Baseball
Jensen had a "scrimmage" game yesterday and wow were we surprised at how well he did! This is his third season and he seemed really confident! I think the new helmet, baseball glove and shoes may have helped a little. He only got to bat once in the game but got a double and was able to score the first run thanks to his friend Rory. He played right field and third base during the game.

Spring Break
We've had a pretty relaxing spring break. The kids were with Nana and Bob-bob Monday and Tuesday visiting Aunt Sandy, cousins Addie & Carson. They also got to see their great-grandmother "Mamaw" and cousins Jozeph & Jazmin. When they returned cousin Lauren spent the night and stayed with the kids while I went to work. J & K had a blast and especially enjoyed "coloring the house". Thankfully it was "colored" with chalk and it was the outside of the house. See pictures below for their lovely artwork!

Spring Break = Staying up late and having lots of PJ days!

The Log Ride
Okay, I know that this is just the Log Ride at Six Flags but they leave you up there for a minute and then the sudden drop gets you. This was from last summer. Sorry mom that I'm just now posting this. I just happened to find this while going through some of our picture files.
I wish that they were able to take pictures during the Runaway Mountain. I took E-man and J-man on this ride not knowing what to expect. I loved it! They survived but they weren't too happy with me - mainly because it was dark and you couldn't tell where the roller coaster was going. Like I said, I loved it...them, not so much.

Frolicking in the Snow
He has a stuffed monkey that's not so stuffed anymore and missing its arms and legs, but he takes it everywhere.
Mad Kitty
This morning Kodi woke us up at 4am. After going out in the snow, I decided to let him sleep with us on the bed. We finally had to put him back in his "room". Apparently the cat didn't like him sleeping on "his" bed with us and they began their usual wrestling match.
Dakota did manage to sneak in a little breakfast this morning. He stole Jarrod's powdered donut that I had put on the counter for him. We caught him eating it at his food bowl. What a sneaky little devil.
I think he and Kodi have an agreement in the house. Really it's a conspiracy. Dakota gets on the counters and knocks off things for them to play with, eat, or tear up. I found them this morning with a large rubber band. They were both chewing on it. Someone also chewed up my favorite pair of socks this morning. I know it was a group effort, but I think Kodi is the one who did the majority of the damage.
Let It Snow
Well I put away all of my snowmen and got out my Spring decor last weekend and look what happens! The kids and pets were so excited to wake up to snow. Unfortunately the kids had to go to school. So we bundled them up and they walked to school and this time I took pictures. Not too often it snows here, especially in March.

Welcome Spring!

It actually snowed last night so the kids were excited to see it on the ground as they left for school this morning. It melted quickly, but was a nice surprise for the kids!
It's hard to believe that Spring is just around the corner. I love this time of year!
The trees and flowers start to bloom, the grass (or weeds in our case) begin to grow, and the days grow longer and warmer!
It also means the end of Basketball for McKenna and the beginning of Baseball for Jensen. The little toot did pretty good, especially since it was her first time to play the game. This will be Jensen's 3rd season playing "machine pitch" so we're excited to see his improvement this year.
